Each spring, the Wamego City Park, downtown, and many home gardens throughout town come alive with the vibrant colors of thousands of tulips. Many of the bulbs for these bright, early spring flowers came from Holland and are the backdrop for this April festival. While Mother Nature is not always predictable as to when Wamego’s tulips will bloom, that doesn’t stop us from having a festival!
Please join over 150 craft and artisan vendors for the 29th Annual Tulip Festival in Wamego City Park! A family-friendly and fun atmosphere invites thousands of festival-goers every year. Peruse handmade items such as jewelry, purses, pottery, candles, spices, soaps, clothing, children’s toys, copper art, original art & photography, home décor and re-purposed goods!
